Situated on the south east coast of Majorca, the resort of Calas de Mallorca is located along the clifftop, overlooking the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. At the heart of town is the Centro Commercial with its many shops, bars and restaurants. For the children there's two parks, two crazy golf courses and an adventure playground. A trip around town on the Cala Express is fun too, while shopping is a must at the Sunday morning market at nearby Felanitx! The nightlife is laid-back, but you'll still find a good selection of bars, pubs and clubs dotted around to keep you happy to the early hours. To the north of Calas de Mallorca discover Porto Cristo, Sa Coma, Cala Millor and Cala Bona, while to the south there's Porto Colom, Cala D'or and Cala Figueras. There are lots of things to experience on a holiday in Calas de Mallorca. The three beaches are the centre of both daytime activity and relaxation, with pedaloes and watersports for the more active. Why not hire a family fun bike and explore the resort, or pop on your hiking boots and enjoy the views on a walk along the headland promenade. A glass bottom boat trip along the coastline is a must too. The nearby town of Manacor is home to the Majorca Pearl industry see the stones being made then buy some to take home. The children will enjoy a trip to the Exotic Parque de Pajaros on the outskirts of town with its parrots, flamingos and children's zoo. Gardeners will adore the Tropical Park Jumaica, home to exotic birds and plants. Try scuba diving at the Acqua Life Dive Centre. Discover the nearby underground Caves of Ham and Caves of Drach.
Nightlife in Calas de Mallorca is lowkey with much of the entertainment hotelbased. But, there are a few bars, clubs and fun pubs to enjoy, including Jupiter I and II Disco Pubs, Tiffany's Fun Pub Club and the Rock Cola Club.
Food & drink
