From the glossy reception to the sprawling, palmedged pools, the H10 Conquistador is a stunninglooking hotel. Its located right on the seafront at Playa de Las Americas, with direct access to the promenade. Inside, a recent revamp has left this 4 star Tenerife hotel looking modern and bright.
The contemporary furniture and clean decor continues from the public areas into the rooms. For extra luxury, upgrade to a Privilege Sea View and enjoy perks such as fluffy bathrobes, iPod docks and a Nespresso machine. This modern Playa de Las Americas hotel has a large buffet restaurant and theres an all inclusive option for those who prefer to have their drinks thrown in. As well as the main restaurant, theres an Italian restaurant and a coffee bar that sells homemade cakes (not included in the all inclusive package.)
The H10 Conquistador offers superb facilities for both children and adults, including a thalassotherapy centre, spa and fitness room, childrens club for ages 4 to 12 and a teen room for the older kids. With so much to offer in such a popular setting, its little wonder this ones scooped multiple awards.

The superb facilities on offer at this 4 star Playa de Las Americas hotel include two huge pools, one childrens pool, childrens club (for ages 412), teen clubhouse, play area, hairdresser, spa and thalassotherapy centre, fitness room, classes including Tai Chi, aquagym, and Spanish lessons, darts, petanque, billiards, table tennis, board games, laundry service, tennis court (local charge), internet corner (local charge), two meeting rooms, free WiFi in common areas and meeting rooms.
Room facilities
There are a total of 485 rooms, suites and junior suites at this luxury Playa de Las Americas hotel. Double Rooms all come with balcony or terrace, TV with international channels, minibar, safe for hire, air conditioning and bathroom with hairdryer. Superior Double Rooms have a contemporary look and facilities as above, apart from the TV, which is a 32 LCD model. Junior Suites have the same perks as a Superior Double Room, but also include a living area, terrace and bathrobes. Suites are equipped the same as Junior Suites, but have pool or sea views as standard and a separate living room for more space and privacy.
For a real treat, upgrade to the Privilege service, which also gets you access to an exclusive lounge with newspaper, TV and internet, access to a private terrace with Jacuzzi, sunbeds and sea views, a privilege solarium in the thalassotherapy centre, personalised checkin, checkout and customer service, late checkout (when available), twice daily cleaning and bellboy service. Upgrade to a Sea View Privilege room and enjoy bathrobe, slippers and VIP amenities, daily newspaper and weather forecast, exclusive welcome gift, Nespresso coffee maker, iPod dock, pillow menu, free safe and exclusive pool towels.
Food, drink & entertainment
The H10 Conquistador hotel has a large buffet restaurant that serves up a wide choice of international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as offering show cooking in the evenings. Theres also an a la carte Italian restaurant called la Vita e Bella. Meals here are not included in the all inclusive package, although it may be possible to swap one of your dinners in the buffet restaurant for one in Vita e Bella, depending on demand. Mencey Restaurant has a scenic location by the edge of the pool and serves up food, drinks and show cooking. Elsewhere, a new coffee bar, Mikess, offers hot drinks and homemade cakes. When it comes to bars, theres Drago in the main lobby area, or Teide Disco Bar, open only in the winter.
Location
The H10 Conquistador is located on the seafront, close to the centre of Playa de Las Americas. Shops and restaurants are located within walking distance and theres a sandy beach around a kilometre away.
Great Hotel!
I travelled here with my boyfriend in May 2014. Hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were more than generous in size. They were definitely big enough for the two of us and also had a very spacious bathroom.
Lobby/reception area was massive, as was the main bar which had waiter service in the evening if required. There was entertainment outside at the pool bar in the evening too, however we found it wasn't to our liking (we were both 19).
The hotel was in a lovely location and the area around was very clean and very accessible to both Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. There was nothing wrong with the food on offer, with plenty of choice and the Italian al a carte was gorgeous. All inclusive was great with some branded spirits, champagne, cocktails and much more included.
We also went to the spa attached to the hotel one cloudy day, which was 12 euros each. However, it was a lovely experience, we were the only two in the spa and found it very relaxing.
The only reason we would not return to this hotel is because the other guests were all quiet and a bit older, 50+ being the average age. The hotel had quite a few returning guests who went 2+ times a year.
