As you'd expect from a Caribbean island, the weather in the Dominican Republic is good virtually all year round. Daytime temperatures rarely dip below the early twenties and often peak at well over 30 degrees Celsius. The rainy season is from May to October, but this doesn't stop thousands of holidaymakers flocking to the tropics during the summer months. In winter, the weather in the Dominican Republic is hot and dry, making it a perfect spot to head for a heavy dose of winter sun.

Water sports, swimming with dolphins, white water rafting, Jeep safaris, horse riding, fishing, golf and diving there's no shortage of things to do on holidays in the Dominican Republic.
